Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Agile Executives ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you visit www.agileexecutives.ie, contact us, register for one of our events, or subscribe to our updates. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.
1. Who we are
Agile Executives is Ireland's Fractional Executive Network, providing fractional leadership, grant support, digital advisory and sustainability services to ambitious businesses. If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your personal data, you can contact us at info@agileexecutives.ie.
2. The information we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us, primarily through the forms on our website. Depending on the form, this may include:
- Your name (first and last name)
- Your company, organisation or fund name
- Your email address and, where provided, your phone number
- Information about your interest or role (for example, whether you are attending an event as a founder, investor or advisor)
- The content of any message or enquiry you send us
- A record of the consent you give us to contact you
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data through our website, and we ask that you do not send us sensitive personal information through our forms.
3. How we use your information and our legal basis
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you ask us about. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Manage event registrations and waitlists, confirm your place, and follow up about the event. Our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in running our events.
- Send you marketing communications about our services, events and insights, where you have asked us to. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Maintain our records and improve how we operate. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running our organisation efficiently.
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate our website and communicate with you, and who process your data on our instructions under appropriate data protection agreements:
- OnePageCRM — our customer relationship management system, used to manage enquiries and contacts.
- Mailchimp (Intuit) — used to manage our mailing list and send email updates and event communications.
- Netlify — our website hosting and form-handling provider.
We may also disclose your data where we are required to do so by law. Our website links to external platforms such as LinkedIn; once you follow those links, the third party's own privacy policy applies.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where your personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision to ensure your data remains protected.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above. If you have consented to marketing, we keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Enquiry and event records are kept for a reasonable period to manage our relationship with you, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Cookies and your browser
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking cookies on this website. We use a small amount of local browser storage for essential functions only — for example, to remember when you have dismissed our event announcement banner so it does not reappear. This information stays in your browser and is not used to track you across other websites.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Ask us to erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@agileexecutives.ie. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in every message. We will respond to your request within one month.
9. Making a complaint
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal data, we would ask you to contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission, at www.dataprotection.ie.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your data.
11. Contact us
