Barbara Purcell

Hi I am Barbara Purcell, a qualified Accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in Fund Administration. I have extensive operational experience in both Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency and have held a number of Central Bank approved roles including Chief, Executive Officer, Chief Operating officer and Executive Director for a regulated fund administration business in Ireland. As Chief Executive Officer I had responsibility for managing the operations of the regulated entity including budgets as well as developing the business strategy for the business and acting as the senior relationship contact for clients. I had my own consultancy business for thirteen years working with a number of large fund administration companies providing project management support in relation to the onboarding of large clients. I recently worked on a full application /business plan submission to the Central Bank in order to obtain a fund administration license for a Company to operate in Ireland. My areas of expertise are fund administration operations including controls and procedures, new business and relationship management, business strategy, finance and project management.
